As part of my application for Filson's Apparel Designer role, I developed original garment concepts for the existing product line. I looked for products that felt as though they should have always existed, building each concept on Filson's heritage and signature materials.
Filson Harrington Jacket Design Concept, 2026
Objective
Explore how Filson's new dry-waxed canvas could introduce a lightweight layer to the existing product line.
Outcome
Applied the material to a classic Harrington jacket, pairing it with signature Filson details to create a versatile spring layer that felt rooted in the brand's heritage.
Filson Mackinaw Wool Donkey Jacket Design Concept, 2026
Objective
Create a new winter icon for Filson that could stand alongside the brand’s most enduring cold-weather jackets.
Outcome
Adapted a classic British work jacket through the Filson lens, combining Mackinaw Wool with a protective Tin Cloth cape. The signature materials gave the familiar silhouette a distinct Filson identity.
